Mathematics

At St Mary’s, our intent is to teach for understanding. We aim for all children to leave our school with a solid understanding of number, giving them agency to apply their knowledge with confidence and excitement, to the problems that life will present to them.

We use the Ark Curriculum Maths Mastery Programme as our Scheme for the teaching of Maths across the school.
